BACKGROUND.
Eye Level grew out of proprietor Tommy Sweeney's desire to practice his craft in an environment of uncompromising quality. He cut his first mat at the Minnesota Institute of Art, where framing was viewed as a noble pursuit in service to the art, demanding the finest materials and most exacting techniques.
That level of craftsmanship stays with him to this day, and the professional framers who work with him at Eye Level share those high standards.

Eye Level serves the framing needs of Madison, Milwaukee and beyond from our shop on Madison's near east side.
Our cozy storefront features an extensive, carefully curated collection of frames, some milled exclusively for us by artisan woodworkers.
Each of our frames is cut and finished by hand in the full wood shop out back, for a truly custom framing experience.
